Word Classification
It also allows you to find 213 groups of words by looking at the contents of the dictionary. Each group of words is represented by a number. After all, numerals are the universal language.
How it Works
Based on clinical observations, it is believed that the index of words is stored in your left brain, and the contents of words (actually and mostly pictures) in your right brain. The left brain communicates to the right brain by number, not by word.

About this Dictionary
All the words in this dictionary are classified according to Chinese word classification system based on the meaning of words and rearranged according to the order of God's Creation. This dictionary can be adapted for machine comprehension.
Punctuation Marks
There are no punctuation marks, not even question marks, in the Thai script, although spaces are left between the end of one sentence and the beginning of the next.
Inherent Vowels
Inherent vowels are vowels which are not written but are understood in certain consonant combinations. For example, the word ฝน fón rain has a short o understood between the two consonants.
Pronunciation
(b)p and (d)t at the beginning of Thai syllables are pronounced as a sharp p/t without the "uh" sound. Sometimes, words beginning with a kw are pronounced as a f sound. Ph and th are pronounced without the h sound. P, t and k at the end of Thai syllables are pronounced without a puff of air at the end. Many Thais have difficulty in pronouncing the r sound and it is often pronounced as a l sound.

Explanations on Some of the Thai Characters

1. A Water Buffalo and a Child ค ด ศ The child (ด) usually sits and steers on the back of the buffalo (ค). That is why that the loop in the child character ด is in up position and the loop in the water buffalo character ค in down position. The character ศ depicts that the buffalo is killed by a javelin. 2. The Trunk of an Elephant and the Tail of a Monkey จ ฉ The character จ depicts that an elephant raises its trunk to its forehead in salutation and the character ฉ depicts that a female monkey raises its long tail over its head to expose its genitalia for copulation. 3. The Eye of an Owl ด ฒ The character ด depicts one of the eyes of an owl under its wide M-shaped feather line and the character ฒ depicts a wise old man. 4. Buddha, a King and a Dragon ธ ฐ ร โ The character ธ depicts our Buddha and the character ฐ depicts our respected Buddha image is sitting on lotus petals in tiers with his snake. The character ร depicts a king and the character โ depicts a flying Chinese dragon. 5. A Bird and a Horse น ม The character น depicts a bird is standing on its feet and the character ม depicts a horse is kicking its hind legs. 6. A Snake ง ว The character ง depicts a snake and the character ว depicts the action of running. Next time when you see a snake, turn your back and run, run, run for your life. 7. A Monkey and a Tiger ล ส The character ล depicts a monkey with the globe under its foot and the character ส depicts the one who kills the monkey, i.e. the tiger. What is beauty when a tiger loses its colors. 8. A Wanton Woman/ A Hermit ษ ญ บ The character ญ depicts a woman/a hermit and the character บ depicts a home. The vowel ั depicts the woman/the hermit is halfway out of the back door of her/his home ษ. |

Syllable without Tone Marks
We must consider how the syllable ends when there is no tone mark.
A dead syllable ends with a short vowel or one of these final sounds -k, -t, -p.
A live syllable ends with a long vowel or one of these final sounds -ng, -n, -m, -y.
